This abstract landscape depicts a dry salt lake I visited on the way to Esperance, in Southern Western Australia. The harsh beauty of the cracks of this creviced land amazed me as I’ve seen it for the first time!

I was born and raised a city girl, but since I moved to Australia I discovered a love of this sunburnt country and I use the power of the visual image of the Western Australian landscape in combination with its scale and textures to explore a new place, land and culture.
