Immediately when you arrive in the North of WA, for the first or the tenth time, you notice the stillness. I enjoyed absorbing the absolute silence and taking in the incredible vastness of the mangroves. I was born and raised a city girl, but since I moved to Australia I discovered a love of this sunburnt country and I use the power of the visual image of the Western Australian landscape in combination with its scale and textures to explore a new place, land and culture.
